　　常溫下白色顆粒狀、針狀、片狀、棒狀、塊狀或塊團(tuán)狀，具有強(qiáng)刺激性。相對密度1.48，熔點(diǎn)52.8℃，沸點(diǎn)202.2℃，在較低溫度下(60-80℃)也能升華，能溶于醇、乙醚和丙酮，與水作用生成順丁烯二酸。可燃、其蒸汽和粉塵與空氣混合，可形成爆炸混合物。
